Radio Show Looking for Lyrics Via Free Contest A troop support radio show is looking for a theme song, and everyone is invited to send in a lyric for the show. There is no cost to enter a lyric in the competition. Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) May 30, 2006 -- Stardust Entertainment Radio is hosting a free lyric competition to find a theme song for "The United We Roll World Tour Show" which finds its way to troops in over 80 countries around the world. Free for anyone who wishes to contribute soldier-support lyrics, the online song contest has a deadline of June 15, 2006 with winners being announced on July 4, 2006.
"So many writers have been inspired to write about the impactive military events of the past few years, and I can understand why. I don't know any American who was not greatly affected by the tragedies in 2001," says a sincere Janet Fisher, owner of co-sponsor Goodnight Kiss Music. "Whether one writes protest songs or songs of support, we may sing them without reservation because of our armed services personnel who have insured these freedoms by fighting tyranny face-to-face, in the most literal sense.
From Memorial Day through the 4th of July, we are going to make special efforts to let the individuals in the field know that we think of them daily. We honor them with our art and donations, as they honor us with their service. The show at StardustRadio.com is a wonderful way to do this. And now, we invite everyone to contribute their lyric of support."
The "United We Roll World Tour Show" airs on StardustRadio.com from 4-6 PM Tuesdays, with special troop support topics, music, guests and anything else the soldiers might enjoy hearing over the radio. There are show archives that one may access, to hear the type of songs they like, and the style of the show. One may also download former shows, for placing on an I-Pod or listen online.
"I'm looking for a great new theme song to use the rest of this year," says the host of the show, LadyZB. "I love our guys and gals serving and I love sending them this support every week, all around the world. I want to hear everything possible, so we might find the very best for our show and our troops."
The station has interviewed and played the musical works of the famous and the unknown. They welcome anyone who would like to show support of the troops, whether by entering and contributing, or just listening to the various support shows. They invite callers to dial in during the shows, and send their own messages to those soldiers serving around the world.
Goodnight Kiss has released "Rhythm Of Honor," an eleven song collection from in various styles, and donates partial proceeds from the CD to the Wounded Warriors Hospital Fund and gives matching CDs to soldiers for each disk sold retail. Janet Fisher was honored for these efforts with a flag flown over Camp Fallujah in her honor for an entire day. "This is more precious to me than any dollar bill or coin," she states. "I hope they feel as much respect from us when they hear the Rhythm Of Honor, as I do when I see my flag. I can't wait to read all the new lyric entries."
Winners and runners up will be interviewed on the show, and there are some other music-related prizes. To enter a lyric in the "United We Roll World Tour" Radio Show Lyric Contest, see details at:
