AT Conference Hosts Al Gore for a Blitz of Radio Interview Conference Calls "An Inconvenient Truth"

AT Conference hosts former Vice President Al Gore for a blitz of radio interview conference calls about his role in feature film documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth." This is the first group in a series of high profile promotional interviews. The former Vice President will have AT Conference operators’ personal service and attention. The film opens to critical acclaim in 9 major U.S. cities this week.

New York (PRWEB) June 7, 2006 —- Erin Powell, a movie industry veteran, promoting "An Inconvenient Truth" for Paramount Classics, found herself in a familiar situation — understaffed and out of time. Powell’s PR consulting company had tightly scheduled 9 radio interviews for Mr. Gore just as the film was about to roll out to 9 major cities.

In addition to coordinating and keeping each interview to a strict schedule, the calls needed to run professionally and without error. This would require a personal touch — conference call operators who could introduce the film’s star, and close the call to keep things on schedule. Erin needed a reliable conferencing solution in 24 hours.

She knew from experience it could be done, but none of the telecom giants, including AT&T, were able to meet her needs. Erin dialed AT Conference’s customer service and had her solution, including conference dial-in numbers, and confidence that the right conference professionals were at her disposal, within minutes.

The AT Conference team coordinated Mr. Gore and the radio stations while hosting the conference calls — and everything went according to plan. “You guys are a God send” Powell said, “I can’t thank you enough for your personal attention to 'An Inconvenient Truth.'”

"An Inconvenient Truth" is directed by Davis Guggenheim, and based on the book by Al Gore. In it, the former Vice President presents us with our “planetary emergency” as we approach more catastrophic consequences of global warming. Distributed by Paramount Classics, the movie is already playing in New York and Los Angeles. The interviews will air on the following stations:

Chicago (WGN-AM)

Philadelphia (WPHT-AM)

Washington DC (WTOP & Washington Post Radio)

Dallas (KREA-FM)

Boston (WTKK-AM)

Seattle (KPTK-AM)

Seattle (KIRO)

San Francisco (KCBS-AM)
