Rogers Jewelers Polishes New Website for Release Rogers and Starrs Jewelers used the web experience of LevelTen Design to create their new product site featuring an exclusive jewelry line called The Promise Collection. This release briefly points out the outstanding features on the site as well as factors used when selecting the right diamond explained on the site. Evansville, Indiana (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -- Rogers and Starrs Jewelers released their new product image-rich website this week displaying a catalog of over 500 styles of women’s and men’s engagement rings, wedding rings, and wedding bands from an exclusive line known as The Promise Collection.
According to the US Census Bureau and The Association for Wedding Professionals International, 2.3 million couples wed every year in the US and the average wedding budget is $20,000. After the funds are spent, the flowers have wilted, and the honeymoon is over, high-quality gold or silver wedding rings will remain the ultimate long-lasting token of remembrance for the day that vows were exchanged. Rogers and Starrs sells these long-lasting reminders symbolizing faithfulness that at least half the married population will keep for 20, 40, even 60 years.
Rogers and Starrs called upon LevelTen Design to display The Promise Collection in a fanciful way to the world via a product display website. The homepage opens with a Flash sliding marquee of wedding scenes and ring images. Upon further exploration the visitor finds different categories within the collection. When a particular ring of interest is clicked on, the picture enlarges and specific product details are given. After being clicked for more details, each ring has a “hint button” feature, which allows the visitor to send a quick email with a photo and the message, “I found this online at Rogers and Starrs Jewelers. What do you think?” He or she can also add their own personalized message.
Rogers and Starrs worked with LevelTen Design not only on The Promise Collection online product catalog, but also on creating a section of the website that could be used as an education resource for the consumer. This section explains the key buying decision factors on how a customer should select a diamond, expressed as the “4 Cs”—color, cut, clarity, and carat. This section shows crystal clear photo examples of what imperfect and poorly cut diamonds look like, as well as pristine and perfectly cut diamonds for comparison.
“We use the four Cs as an education tool in our catalogs and we wanted our website to have some similar features,” said Allison Holman, Advertising Coordinator for Rogers and Starrs Jewelers
Unique to Rogers and Starrs Jewelers service standard, stated on the website, are their Lifetime Diamond Guarantee and Peace of Mind Warranty. The Lifetime Diamond Guarantee is a guarantee to replace any diamond lost from the jewelry described on the certificate provided that the jewelry is inspected by Rogers or Starrs Jewelers every six months. The Peace of Mind Warranty can be used for any type of jewelry purchased, and includes free: ring sizing, labor & parts required for resetting, refinishing and polishing, for life, as well as other services. The cost ranges from $19.95 to $179.95 and is based on the value of the jewelry.
Rogers and Starrs have been the premiere providers of fine jewelry and jewelry services in the Midwest since 1934. They were the first jewelry store in Evansville, Indiana and they now boast fourteen stores throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri with the latest store opening in 2005.
