American women suffering from a “he’s just not that into you” response from men may want to look at the dating pool across the pond, according to a recent survey by British dating guru Rochelle Peachey, founder ofILoveYourAccent.com.

Peachey surveyed more than 1,000 British men who subscribe to her transatlantic dating website and found that 70 percent of British men find American women “more interesting” than British women. However, American girls also come at a price, according to Peachey—more than 78 percent of blokes say American women are materialistic.

“American girls will ask about a man’s salary on the first date,” said Peachey. “British girls are much more discreet about that sort of thing.”

Peachey’s survey also found that British men believe more than 60 percent of American women play “mind games” when dating, more than 50 percent feel Americans are more interested in marriage than just dating , and more than 40 percent say American women are easier to get into bed. “Often, all British men have to do is open their mouths to make American women swoon,” said Peachey.

Dating is something Peachey is truly an expert on—while researching her books, Eat Your Lonely Heart Out and My 1,000 Americans, Peachey dated more than 2,000 men.

“Why limit yourself to the singles in your area?” says Peachey. “It’s exciting to broaden your circle and your options for making a love connection.”

Peachey now lives in Orlando, Fla., and is available for interviews and media appearances.
