ACE Announces Two Major Upcoming Accreditations

The Academy of Computer Education announces two new accreditations the school has received, including GSA accreditation.

Greenbelt, MD (PRWEB) June 12, 2006 -- Academy of Computer Education (ACE) in Greenbelt, MD announced today that it now holds two major industry affiliations which will add to it’s already strong accreditation portfolio.

Today ACE announced two additions to the school’s list of accreditations to be acceptance to the GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule as well as becoming a Microsoft IT Academy. These two affiliations will benefit the school through increased visibility and added benefits to the already highly competitive Microsoft MCSA and MCSE programs at ACE.

ACE has been in business since 2001 and in that time has placed all focus on the growth and advancement of its offerings. ACE has followed a philosophy in which great education and successful graduates would result in continued success for the Maryland computer training school. In the past five years ACE has added many accreditations and advancements to gain recognition and success. The first accreditation the school achieved was approval from the Maryland Higher Education Commission which gave ACE regional recognition. Shortly after this, ACE gained acceptance from the Maryland State Approving Agent to offer training to eligible Veterans and Veteran’s dependants through the VA educational benefits program. Since then, ACE has achieved national accreditation through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. ACE sees the addition of the GSA Schedule and Microsoft IT Academy as another building block in an overall excellent computer education structure.
