B.C. Brooks' Book "Heirloom Returns" has a Style Similar to "Da Vinci Code" B.C. Brooks announces upcoming new book called "Heirloom Returns," the long-awaited sequel to "Heirloom: A Time Travel Adventure." Brooks' style of writing has been compared with the "Da Vinci Code" and his taste for exotic locals and detail will astound you. (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -- Author B.C. Brooks has just announced that his newest book, "Heirloom Returns" is just about on the bookshelves. The second installment of the time traveling duo of Stephen and Robyn Hathorne is set about ten years past the other one, with the Hathorne's raising their eight year old child, George. Incidentally, George is the one who, in the future, invents the time travel device that starts all the adventures.
In this newest adventure, the Hathornes discover that planes and ships have been disappearing over the Atlantic Ocean for years. Sound familiar? Well, what isn't known until 2083 is that the disappearances seem related to the temporal anomaly created by their time travel device and that Stephen was responsible for the mishaps that have occurred since 1808. In the meantime, the Hathorne's nemesis from the future, Xerxes Alim is back in the 20th century setting up a plot to destroy the United States, thereby giving him virtual control of the world in the 2090's. Alim works closely with Osama Bin Laden to build a devastating futuristic bomb to rival anything Al Qaeda has ever dreamed of.
Stephen and Robyn discover Alim's plot in 1998 while trying to prevent the accident that created the "Bermuda Triangle" and stop him from politically devastating the United States.
Look for the book soon. Brooks promises to entertain in a science fiction style of "Da Vinci Code" that will intrigue you and surprise you as much as that book did.
