PostcardMania Wins Stevie® Award in 4th Annual American Business Awards

The Fastest Growing Direct Mail Postcard Company in the Nation was announced a winner at the 4th annual Stevie® Awards.

Clearwater, Florida (PRWEB) June 19, 2006 –- PostcardMania won a Stevie Award for Best Website Writing/Content Category in The 2006 American Business Awards last night.

Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by CNN business news anchor Ali Velshi, videocast live on the Internet, and broadcast nationwide on radio.

In winning the Stevie, PostcardMania beat out the other finalist, Commerce Bank of New Jersey. In accepting the Stevie, Alan said, “Our goal is to have a website that’s fun and easy to use, but also a useful marketing tool for anyone in business.”

Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program. More than 1,500 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

“It is quite an honor to be awarded a Stevie,” said CEO and Founder of PostcardMania, Joy Gendusa. “The content on our site is a mix of articles, tips, free reports and even a tv show segment. All of it has the purpose to make postcard marketing easier to assimilate so that any businessperson can get that extra push to help them succeed in their direct mail campaigns.”

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in earlier this year.

The elegant Stevie trophy was designed by R. S. Owens, the same company that makes the Oscar® and the Emmy.

“PostcardMania is really proud to receive this award. We truly want others to succeed in business – so it’s nice when we get recognized for what we do best,” said Gendusa in closing.
