Country Artists Discover Indie Islands eMagazine

The route to these islands would have been much easier for Columbus. Google and Yahoo used to display "The West Indies" when you searched for Indie Islands. Now it pulls up the new "eMagazine" from a site only a year old, called "Indie Islands" The site is for Independent Unsigned Country Artists, and the free "eZine" takes the whole idea of an electronic magazine, and ups the ante!

(PRWEB) June 19, 2006 -- When you think of the Indie Islands, you usually have a feeling you are back learning of Christopher Columbus – and the West Indies – right? Wrong – now when you google Indie Islands – you will likely pull up an online magazine – before the actual West Indies!

So what is Indie Islands and this “eMagazine?”

Indie Artists are everywhere – you’ve seen the craze with American Idol, and Nashville Star. Well, just since artists are independent, hence “Indie” – and unsigned, doesn’t mean they aren’t just as talented. We’ve seen this time and time again with the popularity of the two aforementioned television shows. What Indie Islands has created is an online, downloadable, and free classy electronic magazine!

Indie Islands.com started only last year. Now, in it's tenth issue, it has captured thousands of online readers. Displaying up and coming Independent Country Artists, it has the attention of Music Row, and many affiliates.

Featuring a unique digital download, for free, Indie Island's "Country Monthly" features embedded music, music videos, audio streams and pages that turn, just as a real traditional magazine!

With up and comers in the industry featured such as Rick Monroe, hit songwriter Charlie Craig (a la Alan Jackson), and stars such as GAC's Kylie Harris, www.indieislands.com and their online eMagazine is definitely something to check out. Of course, you should be a Country Music Fan, but word is out - a pop and rock issue will follow soon.

Join nearly 10,000 readers for a free two minute download of a magazine that is just as great as the traditional "earth - bound" magazine you'd likely spend $5.00 for at the grocery!

It's worth a try for those with broadband and a love of music!
