InfinityQS Vice President to Speak at ASQ World Conference

Steve Wise, InfinityQS’ Vice President of Statistical Methods, Demonstrates Strategies to “Slash Costs” at Quality Industry Event.

InfinityQS® International, the leading provider of real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, announced that Steve Wise, vice president of statistical methods, will be giving a presentation at the ASQ (American Society for Quality) World Conference in St. Louis, Mo. on May 25. Wise is the co-author of the statistics text book Innovative Control Charting.

The presentation, titled “Quality Strategies that Slash Costs,” will address how quality improvements and cost reduction go hand-in-hand. Poor quality that results in scrap, rework, giveaway (overfilling), and even recalls, is costing manufacturers billions of dollars each year. Wise will demonstrate how having the right quality data at the right time will improve quality and save manufacturers thousands or even millions of dollars a year.

“The ASQ World Conference is focused on educating quality management professionals on best practices and proven methodologies, such as real-time SPC,” said Steve Wise. “My presentation is grouped into the focus area of ‘Making the Case for Quality’ and it demonstrates how SPC can be used to scientifically reduce scrap and rework on the manufacturing shop floor.”
