The new plant is located adjacent to some of the large Montmorency tart cherry orchards owned and operated by the partners of Atwater Foods.

The versatility of having two plants (Lyndonville, NY and Traverse City, MI) in conjunction with the owners being the largest tart cherry growers in North America, will give Atwater Foods the capability to produce substantially more premium dried cherries, dried cranberries, dried blueberries and dried apples.
