Scottsdale Children Learn to “Bee all they can Bee” at Newly Launched Bigsbee’s BootCamp

LifePilot program with Bigsbee the bumblebee brings inspiration, confidence and fundamental values lessons to our children.

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) June 28, 2006 -- LifePilot founder Peter H. Thomas has plenty of experience helping adults discover their values. But last Saturday was the first time he did so with a giant bumblebee in the next room.

Held at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, LifePilot’s Signature Event took place right next door to Bigsbee’s BootCamp, a children’s motivational program whose bumblebee mascot inspires children to discover their own brilliance in life and “BEE-come" all they "can BEE!”

Twenty-five children, ranging in age from 6-10, spent the morning learning the same values-focused LifeManual lessons with Jennifer Carroll and Bigsbee as their parents, business leaders and others were learning in the room next door with Thomas.

“It was exciting to present Bigsbee’s BootCamp at the same time and venue as the LifePilot Workshop. Peter has always believed that LifePilot’s LifeManual experience works for both young and old, and it was great to see families come out together today, ” said Jennifer Carroll, Bigsbee founder and author of the children’s book Bigsbee’s Unbee-lievable Journey to Fly, www.bigsbee.com.

Saturday’s LifePilot Signature Event continues a series of international seminars. Upcoming events are scheduled for New York, Dubai, San Francisco and Chicago, among other locations. In addition, LifePilot holds University Mentorship Series Workshops for business students, Prison Programs, and Bigsbee’s children's programs for elementary schools.

In keeping with the program’s goals of outreach and accessibility, LifePilot (www.lifepilot.org), the organization behind the LifeManual (www.lifemanual.com) programs, secured sponsorship for ten children from the Scottsdale Boys’ and Girls’ Club —a local organization that provides quality programs for children that focus on five core areas key to developing life-enhancing skills and nurturing self-esteem —to attend Bigsbee’s BootCamp.

Saturday’s LifePilot Signature Event concluded with an annual Casablanca movie-themed benefit gala at the residence of local business leader Brent Barker. The benefit gala was attended by nearly 100 local business leaders and entrepreneurs who helped raise several thousand dollars for Nana’s Children, Teen Lifeline, and the Todd Thomas Foundation.
