BBQ Celeberation at Perris Hill Park

People in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse need to have the opportunity to have great fun with no temptations.

San Bernardino, CA (PRWEB) June 29, 2006 -- While the rest of the America Celebrates the Fourth of July weekend with picnics and barbeques all too often the recovering community is overlooked.

“That is why we are having a alcohol free celebration at Perris Hill Park on July 2 in San Bernardino from noon to five,” said Miracles in Recovery President Cleo Smith.

“Sober Living in the Desert and Miracles In Recovery created this picnic to give people in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse the opportunity to have great fun with no temptations,” said Smith. People in recovery from any form of substance abuse and their families are all invited to attend.

Ernie B. will play live rock and roll and jazz music from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

“This is a great opportunity to have a good time with old friends, meet new friends and just enjoy ourselves,” said Smith. Cost for the event is just $2.00 per person.

Stater Brothers, who provided the food for the event, cosponsors the picnic and barbeque with Miracles In Recovery and Sober Living in the Desert.
