Columbus, OH (PRWEB) July 3, 2006 -- MapTorch Films is holding an open casting call for a feature film in Columbus, Ohio.

Feature film SERVED COLD looking for actors…

Following the well-established model used by independent filmmakers, the producers are of SERVED COLD are shooting a short "promotional" piece for a feature film currently in development.

This will be a 35mm film shoot with a professional, experienced crew. The promotional piece is set for a 3-day shoot in late summer/early fall, 2006.

*Roles - Male and female roles between the ages of 21 and 55. (see details below)

*Sides will be provided at the audition space and you will be given time to prepare.

*Headshot/Resume - Please bring a headshot and resume. If you do not have a headshot and resume just bring yourself, this is an open casting call.

*Audition Schedule - The auditions will take place NEXT WEEKEND:

FRIDAY, JULY 8th, from 5pm to 9pm

SATURDAY, JULY 9th, from 12pm to 5pm

SUNDAY, JULY 10th, from 12pm to 5pm

*Location - DRAKE PERFORMANCE AND EVENT CENTER on the OSU campus. Copy and paste the link for directions - http://www.osu.edu/map/building.php?building=296

*Parking will be available in the two parking lots directly in front of the building, as well as in a much larger parking lot just around the corner in front of Lincoln Tower.

*There is no pay for this short project, but it will be a fantastic opportunity for exposure, and a chance to work on a professional film set with a professional, experienced crew. You will be provided with GOOD food, IMDB credit, a copy of the film for your reel and an overall great experience.

*Character Descriptions:

MAN 1 – Early-20s-30 yrs old, Caucasian, naturally fit build, 5’8” or taller. Must be able to perform some physical action.

MAN 2 – Late-30s to 55 yrs old, any race; naturally fit-to-somewhat bulky build

MAN 3 – Mid-40s to mid-50s, Caucasian or European/Mediterranean appearance.

WOMAN 1 – Late-20s to late 30s, any race, physically attractive.

WOMAN 2 – Early 20s, any race; physically attractive.
