Chris Brosnan, Music and Film Director - 21st Century Mercurial Man.

(PRWEB) July 5, 2006 -- Christopher Brosnan is a Film and Music Video Director, Script Writer and Producer; “ the 21st Century Mercurial Man,” the adopted Son of Legendary Bond Actor Pierce Brosnan and the late actress Cassandra Harris. Born in Wimbledon, London in 1972 he was raised in Malibu, California. He attended UCLA Screen Writers School and then moved on to the New York Film Academy where he studied directing.

Starting out as a tea boy on films such as ‘Goldeneye’ and ‘Robinson Crusoe’, he has worked his way up over the last ten years to Assistant Director on Films such as ‘The World Is Not Enough’ and ‘The Thomas Crown Affair.’

In 2000, Chris moved back to L.A. and started a company called ,‘Avatar Films’, which recently shot a picture in Costa Rica. Chris was the Asisstant Director on this movie. Since then he moved on to direct commercials such as Nokia, B & Q, Bonjella and Music Videos for artists such as Abi, Zen State, Jade, Freestylers and MC Navigator. In 2004 he sold his first Screenplay called ‘Indian Summer’ which is at this time in pre-production.

At the beginning of 2006 Chris set up a Film Production Company called ,‘Ghost Army Cinema,’ with writing and directing partner Saloum N’Jie , whom he met many moons ago on the Bond films sets. They have completed a new feature Screenplay called “ 16 Thieves,” a 21st Century heist movie based in London. This is their first project in a line up of 7 films on their company slate. The Script is generating considerable amount of interest in the International Film Community, but the boys are holding out for the right financial partner.

On Thursday 29th June 2006 Chris hosted the UK Launch of Swiss Watches Appella at the Savoy . Appella (www.Appella.com) was born in 1943 at Porrentruy, Switzerland. The brand was created by Jahre Paul Glocker, the legendary Swiss horologist and Chairman of EBOSSA group. Chris is currently working as a director on music videos and film projects. He is also about to embark on a wonderful television project in the Southern Hemisphere.

In his spare time Chris has been working with The Prince’s Trust devoting his time and experience to inner city kids helping them find motivation in their lives and faith in themselves, through a series of media workshops and team building exercises.

He is the 21st Century Mercurial Man and enjoys bungee jumping, skydiving, scuba diving and motor cross riding ... while he finds balance through meditation.
