Sneakerplay: The Global Sneaker Culture's First Social Network Sneakerplay is the sneaker community’s first social network. It is a next-generation social software designed specifically for style conscious and creative individuals. Toronto, ON (PRWEB) July 5, 2006 -- Sneakerplay is the sneaker community’s first social network. It is a next-generation social software designed specifically for style conscious and creative individuals — a place where sneaker enthusiasts can connect with friends, meet like minded individuals and express their unique styles. Members will be able to create profiles, showcase their latest pickups/gear in the gallery and we also have a wicked battle feature for the competitive types. As you know the battle is a universal feature within our culture whether it’s in the domains of art (graffiti), music (bboy’ing) or sports. Sneakerplay’s innovative battle system allows you to view, comment and rate ongoing battles. The site is elegant in its simplicity and design which is reminiscent of a fresh clean pair of white kicks.
FEATURES: - Member profiles – showcase your personality/style. You can upload pictures, share information on: your interests, favorite kicks, gadgets, what your wearing, reading, and watching. - Galleries – member profiles are connected to the gallery where users can upload their gear. - Battle – members can face off other members’ sneakers, leaving the community to decide whose on top. - Tags – kind of like graffiti only SP Tags are used to identify and organize the images you upload.
Our goal is simply to connect others while enhancing street culture and everything it encompasses by using technology to transcend the hype and go back to the core. We have recently launched our beta service on an invite only basis as we fix up the last few bugs. There are still a lot of cool features to come in the weeks and months ahead.
