Homes for Our Troops Works Together with Hartford Area Home Builders Association to Build a Specially Adapted Home for Severely Wounded Connecticut Veteran

Homes for Our Troops founder, John Gonsalves, will hold a press conference at the vacant lot located at 733 Cedar Swamp Rd, Coventry, CT on July 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM to announce the beginning of this handicap accessible home building project for wounded Iraq war veteran Jared Luce.

Coventry, CT (PRWEB) July 7, 2006 -- Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans announced today that a groundbreaking ceremony will take place to mark the beginning of a home building project for a severely wounded Marine Reservist Sgt. Jared Luce and his family.

Sgt. Luce lost both of his legs in Iraq when an IED exploded under the vehicle he was driving. Contractors and business owners in the local community will be asked to assist in all aspects of the building process.
