Actress Mariska Hargitay, whom plays Detective Olivia Benson of "Law and Order: SVU" gave birth to August Hermann on June 28th 2005 in Los Angeles. Hargitay and baby August are doing "very very very very well" according to Mariska's official site blog that was posted on June 29th.
