Frederick, MD (PRWEB) July 9, 2006 -- Publish America is proud to present Canine Agent Teabo and the Case of the Pavlovian Dog Pox by Ogden, Utah’s Dan C. Evans. This young adult book is the story of Teabo, who is training to become a secret agent with the Canine Secret Service. A young person’s need to prove themselves is a universal theme. It is also a theme that spans species.
Teabo is a young dog who is training to become an agent with an organization known as the Canine Secret Service. He trains with his mentor Roddy in the hopes of becoming a full fledged agent, not knowing that his world was about to take a spin.
Before Teabo is able to finish his training, he and his mentor stumble onto a plot that could destroy the entire structure of dog civilization, causing Roddy to be whisked away on a top secret mission. Unable to tell Teabo what his mission involves, Roddy is gone for weeks, only to resurface after having been exposed to a deadly virus. It is up to Teabo to find a way to save his mentor, and complete his mission even though he has yet to complete his training.
Teamed with a pair of untrustworthy cats, Teabo is on a mission where he is never quite sure who he can trust. Out of his element, and feeling quite over his head, he struggles to find a cure for the disease that is killing his mentor while looking for a way to keep SABER (a secret cat organization) from destroying dog-kind.
He is aided on his journey by a collection of species that spans the animal kingdom. A courier gopher, an escort pig, an orangutan who fancies himself to be something of a philosopher, and an untrustworthy goat as a secret informer, all play a role in helping Teabo close the biggest case of his young career.
Teabo must prove that he has what it takes to be one of the greatest agents that the Canine Secret Service has ever seen. All he has to do is find a cure for a deadly disease, stop a feline plot for world domination, and find out who he can really trust in the process.
Dan C. Evans lives in Ogden, Utah, with his wife, their twin daughters, and his dogs, Teabo and Scout. He has taught science in the Davis County School District for the past nine years. Currently, he enjoys teaching biology at Clearfield High School in Clearfield, Utah.
