Pacific Software Publishing Acquires More Flash Clocks from Japan Today, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (hereafter PSPINC) released 16 additional FLASH clocks at its Clocklink.com site after acquiring the designs and rights for the popular Flash clocks from Japan. Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) July 8, 2006 -- Today, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (hereafter PSPINC) released 16 additional Flash clocks at its Clocklink.com site after acquiring the designs and rights for the popular Flash clocks from Japan.
PSPINC started www.ClockLink.com, a Free Flash Clock Service, in 2004. As of June 2006, daily clock downloads has exceeded 9 million. There were over 30 clocks for users to choose from, but with an increase in the number of users, the demand for having more variety in clocks was becoming an immediate focus. www.butabon.com is a site run by 3 designers in Japan with very high quality Flash clocks online. PSPINC acquired the rights and designs for all of the butabon clocks earlier this year.
The main difference between clocks at www.ClockLink.com and www.butabon.com is not the design but the time each clock displays. Butabon clocks displays only the local machine time as the clock is displayed, whereas ClockLink clocks display the World time zone the user chooses to display on his or her page. PSPINC has implemented its World time zone system with the butabon clocks after its acquisition.
PSPINC expects the clock downloads to go over 10 million views per day before the end of July this year with the number of clocks added today. PSPINC is planning to work with blog services and SNS services to make the clocks available through various online services to make ClockLink.com the de facto of online clocks.
About ClockLink.com advertisement www.ClockLink.com provides free Flash clocks based on an accurate server time, displaying any world time zone that the users choose to display for homepages, blogs, and other online services capable of displaying the Flash clocks. Free clocks have mouse-over advertisements along with the custom link service from each clock. Advertisers will be able to have a custom clock or a sponsored clock based on the existing ClockLink.com designs.
