(PRWEB) July 9, 2006 -- PokerNews.com and PokerStars have launched a new and exclusive promotion for PokerNews.com readers. Players that sign up to PokerStars will receive access to a special $25 deposit bonus, plus be eligible for entry to a $15,000 Team PokerNews Aussie Millions freeroll, and monthly $2,500 freerolls.

To qualify for all three offers, players must first sign up to PokerStars through the links available on PokerNews.com (http://www.pokerstars.com/sites/pokernews/?source=pokernews.com), register a new account, and deposit. There are some further requirements specific to each offer.

To receive the free $25 deposit bonus, players must simply earn 100 FPP points through either ring game or tournament play, and the $25 will be automatically released into their account. In addition to this, if players sign up before June 30, they will also be eligible for a 100% up to $50 deposit bonus, which takes the maximum bonus available up to $75 for a $50 deposit. Since FPP points are awarded very quickly at PokerStars, players will be able to reach the bonus in a short amount of time.

In order to enter the $15,000 Team PokerNews Aussie Millions freeroll on September 9 15:00 EST and the $15,000 PokerNews/PokerStars Carribean Adventure freeroll on December 10 15:00 EST, players must earn 100 FPP points in the month before the tournament starts. The $15,000 Team PokerNews Aussie Millions freeroll will award an Aussie Millions package consisting of buyin to the Main Event ($10,500 AUD), plus 10 nights accommodation at the Crown Casino Promenade Hotel and approximately $2,800 for flights and spending money. A further $3,000 will be paid from 2nd through to 9th place.

The winner of the $15,000 PokerNews/PokerStars PCA freeroll will win a $12,000 PokerStars PCA package consisting of an $8,000 buyin to the event, $3,000 for accommodation and meals, plus $1000 for travel. There will be a further $3,000 spread from 2nd through to 9th place.

To enter the monthly $2,500 freerolls which will be held on the second Sunday of every month at 15:00 EST (except the months with Team PokerNews freerolls), you need to accumulate 100 FPP points in the month leading up to the freeroll.
