"Tertiary" is an amazing story that comes from an artist whose works most of us have seen in movies. You see, John Coppinger, the author, works as a sculptor and designer for movies and museums. It is he who sculpted Jabba the Hutt for Star Wars as well as the Diva for The Fifth Element.
Not only was the story tight, not only was it well-paced, but, in the end, it was believable as a possible past! That was the question I remained with, when I was done with "Tertiary": What if all this has actually happened in the not-so-distant past of the planet?
