Celebrity Chefs and Food & Beverage Experts at “Asian Fusion – The Premier Art of Cuisine & Culture” Asian Business Association of Orange County to host the Cuisine & Cultural Event of the Summer Irvine, CA (PRWEB) July 14, 2006 -- Robert Irvine, host of “The Everyday Gourmet” on Food Network and renowned celebrity chef to international figures and heads of state (including President Bush’s inaugural dinner), will headline Orange County’s biggest cuisine and cultural event of the summer!
Hosted by the Asian Business Association of Orange County (ABAOC), “Asian Fusion: The Premier Art of Cuisine & Culture” is an event of food and culture to be held on Saturday, July 22nd from 11 am to 4 pm at the Premier Automotive Group in Irvine.
Experience a culinary and cultural adventure of exquisite flavors from the Asian food booths hosted by some of Orange County’s finest restaurants offering all things Asian from noodle and dim sum stations to sushi.
The event will include: - Booth vendors who will showcase arts and crafts - Cultural performers who will be on hand for your entertainment. - A Wine, Beer and Sake Garden will be available for those 21 years old and over. - Seminars by Food & Beverage Experts
The highlight of Asian Fusion will be a distinguished connoisseur 3-course “Asian Fusion” luncheon (by reservation only) prepared by Irvine and Kimmy Tang, two of the world’s renowned celebrity chefs:
- Robert Irvine, host of “The Everyday Gourmet” on the Food Network. Robert has prepared lavish dinners for international figures and heads of state, including the Queen of England and Prince of Wales. His most notable meal perhaps is the Inaugural dinner for President George W. Bush.
- Kimmy Tang, chef-owner of Michelia, a Euro-Asian bistro on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, which has received rave reviews from The Zagat Survey, Los Angeles Magazine, Los Angeles Times and other critics who have feasted on Tang’s fusion of French and Vietnamese delights. Her famous patrons have included Jackie Chan, Larry King, Oliver Stone and many others.
