NAMWOLF Receives Grant From Choice Hotels International Foundation

The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) today announced it has received a grant of $2,100 from the Choice Hotels International Foundation, a tax-exempt entity established by Choice Hotels International, Inc., (NYSE:CHH), one of the world's largest lodging franchisors.

Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) July 16, 2006 -- The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) today announced it has received a grant of $2,100 from the Choice Hotels International Foundation, a tax-exempt entity established by Choice Hotels International, Inc., (NYSE:CHH), one of the world's largest lodging franchisors.

The grant given by the Choice Hotels International Foundation will enable NAMWOLF to continue its primary aim of promoting the awareness and utilization of minority and women-owned law firms by corporations throughout the country.

"This grant will provide NAMWOLF with much needed support and enable the organization to carry out its philanthropic goals," said Chuck Ledsinger, president and chief executive officer of Choice Hotels. "We hope by our example to encourage other organizations and individuals to follow suit."

The Choice Hotels International Foundation, a tax-exempt entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, was established in November, 1999 by Choice Hotels International to aid not-for-profit charitable and educational organizations.

The Choice Hotels Foundation is charged with targeting and coordinating Choice's financial support for groups that 1) provide shelter and food to those in need; 2) promote the growth and development of tourism; 3) support the educational efforts of schools, workforce entry organizations and the hospitality industry; and 4) enhance the quality of life in local communities where Choice Hotels International has a presence.
