TomKat Prenup Something to Sing About

Jesse Goldberg’s “Prenuptial Agreement” song could have been written for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as they finalized their extensive agreement.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 26, 2006 -- Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (a.k.a. TomKat) have reportedly signed their prenuptial agreement, which may stop fans from bombarding them with copies of Jesse Goldberg’s pertinent song “Prenuptial Agreement.”

Both TomKat and Goldberg fans can appreciate the song’s lyrics including: “On pg. 3, clause 14a, it says you give your rights away. Don’t listen to what your lawyers say, just sign this pre-nuptial agreement.” and “This house is not a home when I’m here all alone. But if you ever go, it’s still worth a lot of dough.”

Nashville musician and writer Jesse Goldberg, also a licensed lawyer, is proud to have his comedy labeled as an equal opportunity offender. Besides the prenuptial song, Jesse’s “Solid Goldberg” album also includes fan favorites, such as “I Used to Be a Liberal” and “Southern Baptist Jew.”

Lucky Nashville fans can see Jesse weekly on three area television shows, “Mind Your Own Music Business,” “The Songwriter’s Show,” and “Common Law.” Details of these programs can be found at www.jessegolderb.com.

Jesse’s website also features three comedy CDs "My Name Is Goldberg,""Solid Goldberg," and "Nuts Over Nashville," as well as “It’s a Ruff Life,” his musical play about life from a dog’s perspective.

By the way, the TomKat prenuptial is said to grant Holmes $3 million a year for each year that she is married to Cruise, up to a maximum of $33 million, as well as a home in Montecito, CA. If the marriage fails after more than eleven years, Holmes will be entitled to half of all of Cruise’s assets under California property law.
