Flint Director, Emajhn, to Screen Music Video at Midwest Urban Film Festival

Gospel Music Video Director, Emajhn, set to showcase video at Detroit festival.

Flint, MI (PRWEB) July 24, 2006 -- Flint Filmmaker and Gospel Music Video Director, Emajhn, will have a screening of his latest gospel music video at the Midwest Urban Film Festival July 28th and 29th in Detroit. The festival is presented by the Promoter Magazine, and is the publication's first film festival effort. The music video, 'God forgive the hood', by gospel group Live Christ Like, was also screened at the recent Flint Film Festival (Michigan), and was one of only ten music videos to make the final cut; that festival received over one hundred and fifty submissions.

The pseudonym, Emajhn (pronounced, e·maj'·in), is a play on the director's first and last names, Emanuel Johnson. The Flint native works within the gospel music industry, as director and editor of cinematic gospel music videos.

The upcoming Detroit festival will be held at the Cobo Event Center. For more information, log on to www.emajhn.com or the festival's website at www.themidwesturbanfilmfestival.com.
