MegaFest 2006 was MegaWonderful

Bishop T.D. Jakes delivered an electrifying message to the many visitors that congregated at the Georgia Dome, Donna Richardson lead exercise sessions during the mornings, and Steve Harvey hosted the “Just Churchin” comedy show.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 23, 2006 -- FTC Publications, Inc. provided full media coverage of MegaFest 2006 in Atlanta from July 19-22. The Expo featured many vendors providing guests with the opportunity to have a pleasant shopping experience while preparing to take in the festivities featuring Health and Wellness. There was also a youth expo which offered many activities for guests 21 and under. (See the related FTC Publications story from writer Genese BoBo).

Bishop T.D. Jakes delivered an electrifying message to the many visitors that congregated at the Georgia Dome starting Wednesday. His message quite simply was to evict evil from your home and life. The message was powerful, and his delivery was confident. Words cannot express the impact he made on the crowd. Bishop Jakes also broadcast his powerful message to several prisons across the United States.

There were many other MegaFest events, a youth concert titled “You’re Not Forgotten” on Wednesday night, and a Celebration of Unity Concert featuring Aretha Franklin. (See related FTC Publications stories from writers Nicole Wallace and Genese BoBo).

Donna Richardson lead exercise sessions during the mornings, and the Gospel Talent Search featured many hopefuls.

One featured event was the “Just Churchin” comedy show with Steve Harvey. The show was very funny, and proves that comedy can exist without profanity as Mr. Harvey so eloquently demonstrated during his excellent performance. Other artists who appeared during the comedy event in cameo style were Christopher Reid (“Kid”) and Christopher Martin (“Play”) – who some say bears a striking resemblance to FTC Publications CEO Warith Niallah, and Mr. Chris Tucker was spotted in Philips Arena’s Replay Lounge making a fast appearance as FTC Publications’ Fashion Model Nicole Wallace attempted to track him down for a quick comment. Other artists on stage were Tommy Davidson with a memorable performance as he took us back in time with very convincing impersonations of singers such as Sammy Davis, Jr. and Al Green; Jonathan Slocumb, and Diane Amos, known to many as the lady in the popular Pine-Sol commercials.

The entire fest brought excitement and fun to an already exciting and fun city and allowed many to come together and congregate in a family friendly event.

FTC Publications provides Sports, News and Media coverage to events around the world.
