Designs by Joan Edelstein had a very successful showing at The Buyer's Market of American Craft. Joan says her one of a kind scarves and shawls were a huge success, purchased by high-end boutiques, museums and galleries in over 20 states.

(PRWEB) July 27, 2006 -- Designs by Joan Edelstein's Scarves & Shawls, shown at the Philadelphia Buyer's Market of American Craft, had a very successful showing. Joan's beautiful one of a kind pieces were purchased by high-end boutiques, galleries and museums in over 20 states. The scarves and shawls are normally worn, however some galleries and museums show them as table runners or wall hangings. Many of Joan's pieces can be seen at the Dallas Market in the showroom of Excessorize with Marilyn.

Joan has three main categories: Confetti Lace, Graphic Details and Split Personality. The Confetti Lace Scarves & Shawls are bordered in hand-dyed silk ribbon that surrounds a colorful network of vintage and contemporary fabrics and fibers. Each scarf and shawl is a one of a kind work of art to wear or display. Graphic Details and Split Personality Scarves and Shawls are new to Joan's line, and are also bordered with the same hand-dyed silk ribbon. These have a creative repetitive design of similar vintage and contemporary fabrics and fibers. The scarves are in sizes 54" x 6", 60" x 8" and 70" x 10" and the shawls are 70" x 20".
