The auction will open today at Afternic.com, and run for 14 days, with bids starting at $100,000.

Originally created as an ad sales model, LoveStories.com generated over $75,000 in revenue in 2000, but the Internet economy shifts influenced founder Alanna Webb to recently convert the community to a paid membership system. In addition, the community is poised to become a hybrid combining ad sales, memberships, and e-commerce.

LoveStories.com receives an average of 2 million page views and 180,000 visitors monthly. LoveStories has been ranked as the #1 grassroots poetry community, with link popularity rivaling corporations such as Coke, Lancome, McGrawHill, The Gap, Mrs. Fields, etc.*** LoveStories has been featured in all types of media, including US Today, LA Times, US Magazine, HGTV, A&E TV, and FoxTV. All transfer fees will be incurred by the buyer. Alanna Webb will be available for consulting for 30 days after transfer.
