Tool King donates office equipment and more to Lakewood based Project Avalon an organization dedicated to assisting domestic abuse victims.

Tool King (http://www.toolking.com) donates thousands of dollars in cash registers and office equipment to Lakewood based Project Avalon (http://www.avalonhome.org) -- an organization dedicated to assisting domestic violence victims with basic needs assistance and job-training.

Project Avalon helps domestic abuse survivors move on from abusive living situations to build a productive home. Through a transitional housing reimbursement assistance program and career oriented job skills programs, Project Avalon enables domestic violence victims to transition from an abusive situation to one of healthy living.

Project Avalon runs a thrift-store to generate revenue and provides crisis center residents with necessities and job-skills training. Tool King’s cash register system will help the boutique manage cash-flow, office equipment will be used in training and other items will be sold to help support the organization.
