This announcement was made at the ACWA Board meeting at the Picadilly Inn, in Fresno on Friday morning, May 21, 2010. RMJ Technologies was chosen as result of a competitive bid process conducted by the ACWA. San Diego, CA (Vocus) June 30, 2010 RMJ Technologies (http://www.rmjtech.com]), a fleet management provider specializing in vehicle GPS tracking solutions, vehicle camera technologies, and web-based driver simulation training, was selected as The ACWA’s Preferred Provider for Fleet Optimization as a result of a competitive bid process conducted by the Association of California Water Agencies and comes highly recommended from their previous agency clients. The RFQ with Bid was put out as a direct response to an ACWA Agency Survey conducted wherein ACWA’s members voted, as a top priority for critical APP services – to find a solution that would allow them to manage and track their vehicles. RMJ Technologies is a Platinum Partner of Network Fleet, Inc., the manufacturer of a patented and award-winning vehicle GPS tracking technology with remote diagnostics. This device connects directly to the vehicle’s on-board computer - tracking the vehicle in real-time while simultaneously providing continuous engine diagnostics. The service also includes road-side assistance, the tracking of PTOs, the tracking of engine run-time, and the elimination of mandatory smog checks. The solution also is available for vehicles without an OBDII. Use of this technology reduces the overall operating expense of the fleet and dramatically mitigates emissions. If properly managed, most agencies experience a return on investment in as few as six months. The Networkfleet patented system reads real-time diagnostics from the vehicle’s engine to allow fleet managers to monitor precise information such as exact vehicle speed, fuel consumption, and emissions status for all vehicles. Fleet managers log in to a secure Web site to view vehicle performance data and receive reports emailed directly to their in-box daily, weekly, or monthly. RMJ Technologies has extensive experience with California Water Agencies to include, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, San Diego County Water Authority, Eastern Municipal Water District, Rancho California Water District, and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Yorba Linda Water District (pending). As an ACWA Preferred Provider, RMJ Tech can now offer consistent pricing to all ACWA members and eliminate the time, energy and cost associated with the execution of a public bid/proposal for such services. These agencies will be able to piggyback off of ACWA’s public proposal. Jerome Toliver, CEO of RMJ Technologies stated “We are very excited to be part of this prestigious program, and we are anxious to begin serving the needs of the ACWA membership”. ACWA’s CEO, Tim Quinn, remarked “ACWA is pleased to be able to round out its Preferred Provider offerings with this comprehensive and robust fleet optimization tool. We are delighted that RMJ Technologies has joined us.” About RMJ Technologies
