Los Angeles/Miami/Caracas (PRWEB) August 7, 2006 -- Of the top 10 shows on primetime TV today, greater than half are what is now referred to as “reality programming”. With quick turnarounds in multiple languages, this genre of television broadcasts is opening new doors for many. “The Kitchen”, the language services division of TM Systems, developers of the entertainment industry’s only Emmy Award Winning, “end to end” language customization technology, is seeing reality programming as a “round the clock” production opportunity.
“We’ve been asked to translate and subtitle English language programming, into multiple languages, within three hours, for a satellite uplink to South America that runs simultaneously with the North American broadcast” explained Ken Lorber, President/CEO of “The Kitchen”. “We’re doing real Parisian French dubbing on both coasts,” Lorber continued, “in an effort to provide opportunities to produce reality programming, with smaller broadcast budgets, in what typically is a very expensive language.”
“Whatever a client needs, we can pretty much accommodate,” Lorber further explained. “It is because we have our own proprietary technology, coupled with the international language services offered by “The Kitchen”, that we are able to provide solutions to just about any reality show need.”
“We’ve been asked to download a live US television broadcast, translate immediately into Japanese, with voiceover announcers and talent, and upload within six hours for broadcast in Japan,” Ken Lorber added. “Whether it’s a series or a one-hour special, reality program is unique.”
With their own TM Systems digital environment, “The Kitchen” is able to transfer files quickly, get approvals in record time, offer opportunities for client’s to view the program as it is being developed in multiple languages and much more.
