Sparks Hires New Vice President of Events Event Industry Veteran Suzanne Wells Joins the Sparks Team Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) August 10, 2006 -- Sparks, a leading creative event marketing agency and creator of custom environments, events and exhibits, is proud to announce the hire of Suzanne Wells as Vice President, Events. Wells officially joined Sparks on June 26th and brings over fifteen years of industry experience and talent.
Formerly with the George P. Johnson Company (GPJ) as Director of Business and Agency Development, Wells’ role was to develop event operations and business development teams throughout the Asia Pacific region while providing strategic consultation on domestic and international customer events for dozens of premier brands across multiple industries ranging from automotive to technology to consumer products.

Before joining GPJ, Wells was Strategic Events Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, handling external company events on a global basis. She started her career in hotel sales with Hyatt and Westin, and has been a hotel asset manager providing consulting services to hotel real estate investors. Wells is also a past president of the seven-state Southeast chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association, and has been a speaker at educational programs for Meeting Professionals International, the International Association for Exposition Management and other organizations.
