Bass Player Races in NHRA Scott Hudson, bass player for The Barnburners with Big Harmonica Bob!, is scheduled to compete in the NHRA event Summer Nights of Fire, August 9-11 at the historic Pomona Raceway in Pomona, California. Hudson will be racing on behalf of Relative Racing, based in Yorba Linda, California. The event will feature night racing on Friday and Saturday with final eliminations scheduled for Sunday at the famed quarter-mile. Competitors in eight categories vie for NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series national and divisional championships, highlighted by 260-mph Top Alcohol Dragsters and Top Alcohol Funny Cars. Competitors in Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street, also will compete at the one-time event. The Pomona Raceway is located at 1101 W.
