Edward Garcia, partner, SMI and founder of Proceed Technical Resources, Inc. as an avid barbeque enthusiast himself, wanted to create an online space for those that share the same passion for this everyday culinary pursuit.

Smokin’ A Phattie enables members to create a profile, customize their own Home Page, and author their own barbeque Blog. Members can also join groups that spark their interest in “The Pit”. The site offers its user a nice menu selection of Events, Classifieds, Recipes, and the Phattie Store. Members can post recipes, pictures, comments and trade BBQ tips with fellow enthusiasts.
