Australia's leading developer of high speed network encryption hardware, Senetas Corporation Limited (ASX:SEN) announced today the global release of a new solution developed over the past 18 months to provide 24 x 7 business network monitoring with encrypted communications across the cloud.

It provides secured, automated monitoring in real time across a range of business critical systems and applications for mid-sized enterprises.
Senetas has already completed its first installation for a government agency and has expressions of interest from State and Federal agencies in Australia and overseas for the secure encrypted SAAS application.
Available directly from Senetas in Australia, as well as its European subsidiary and channel partners in over 40 countries, it replaces the need for organisations to invest in hardware and human resources to monitor and manage standard operating systems, CPUs, real and virtual memory, disk performance, network performance, disk space, critical processes and Web URL availability.

Announcing the breakthrough product that was jointly-developed by Senetas’ encryption division and its consulting division, CEO John DuBois said MonitorStream benefitted business by reducing business costs and improving time management and network capacity planning.

“Beyond mere monitoring, MonitorStream also provides automatic event notification to identify and prevent network problems before end-users are impacted,” Mr DuBois said.

“Essentially our solution saves business the capital costs together with salaries and on-costs associated with employing and training staff to perform network monitoring. Our solution runs in the cloud over an encrypted link to improve capacity planning by anticipating resource over-utilization, by generating proactive events and reports against forecasted growth models. This can be followed by system reconfiguration for better performance or timely acquisition of new hardware to prevent system slowdowns and outages.”
MonitorStream builds on Senetas’ established skill sets in the IBM Tivoli environment and Senetas can provide an end-to-end solution covering design, deployment, configuration, licences, deployment and training. All these components can be provided by Senetas effectively acting as an IBM Tivoli Monitoring ‘one-stop-shop’.

The MonitorStream solution includes Senetas’ new CS100, a 100 mbps encryptor configurable for either Layer 2 Ethernet or Layer 3 IPSec networks secured by industry standard AES 256 bit encryption algorithms. It is also crypto-agile, meaning it can be used with custom algorithms, which are required by governments such as Japan, Korea and parts of South East Asia.
The solution is available for a simple all-inclusive monthly fee, which includes support by Senetas consultants with an unrivalled depth of experience in Enterprise Systems Management.
