The National Patient Antibody Registry (NPAR) is a HIPAA-compliant on-line database of patient antibodies. It features automated upload of patient data. Technical Director Adam Molny states “Our extensive experience with Blood Bank Information Systems (BBIS) enabled us to created interfaces to all the major BBIS vendors. Automated upload reduces the workload in the laboratory by eliminating the need for manual data entry and enhances the quality and depth of data we can bring into the registry.”

NPAR includes an on-line reference library of antibody information.
