Direct Buy-in and New Qualification Routes Launched for Betfair Asian Poker Tour (BAPT)

The Betfair Asian Poker Tour has launched its open-to-all buy-in system and new online qualification routes.

(PRWEB) September 2, 2006 -- Betfair has made it easier to book a place at the Betfair Asian Poker Tour’s inaugural event in Singapore starting on November 12th.

A new schedule has been launched which offers single table satellites from $35 to $65 and super-satellite tournaments from $3.60. It is also possible to buy-in direct for $5,000 via www.BetfairAsianPokerTour.com.

The BAPT is open to anyone over the age of 21. Players without a Betfair Poker account can also buy-in direct via this site.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for all poker players to get involved in this unique event,” said head of poker, Ben Fried.

The BAPT is Singapore’s first ever poker event and the largest poker tournament in Asia. An expected 400 players will each contribute $5,000 to a prize pool of $2 million.
