Time for the JeanX Watch and the Largest Single-Day for the Fight Against Breast Cancer

The new Hispanic Media Group, Advertais, LLC, and the MNT Center’s –DECA students participate in the largest single-day fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer. As Lee® National Denim Day moves into its second decade, Advertais, LLC and MNT is gearing up to put their own style with the JeanX Watch in their 2006 Year of Participation with this grassroots program which has raised more than $61 million for breast cancer research.

Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) September 2, 2006 -- In Baltimore, MD, Oklahoma City & Norman, Oklahoma September 01 – October 6, 2006 won’t be any ordinary casual Fridays as Advertais, LLC and MNT will put their own twist to Lee National Denim Day by introducing the JeanX Watch to commemorate their fundraising accomplishments and further the message of the importance of Time in early detection. See the watch at www.advertais.com, click LEE® logo. The denim worn on these days will not only be worn for comfort & style, but it will also make a powerful statement for an important cause.

Participants are encouraged to wear denim in exchange for a $5 donation to the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) or by pre-ordering the fashionable JeanX Watch (a stone denim watch by Backroom Clothing Co. and Advertais, LLC). All funds will be used to support a groundbreaking scientific project to detect breast cancer in its earliest stage. They will also help accelerate treatment research and increase patient access to some of the most significant clinical trials in the nation, as well as support grassroots programs across the country.

“Lee National Denim Day is extremely important to our employees and the MNTC students, as some of them have been personally touched by the disease,” said Advertais, LLC’s Co-Founders Enrique Ortiz, Creative VP & Eduardo D. Hayden, President of the first bilingual advertising agency in Oklahoma City. “We enjoy participating tremendously because it empowers the students to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer, it’s a great educational program within our work walls, and it is so easy for us to implement this cause with the participation of an entrepreneurial school like Moore Norman Technology Center”.

“The enthusiastic support we get from companies, organizations and schools every year is overwhelming,” said Liz Cahill, director of advertising and public relations for Lee Jeans. “The $5 you might normally have spent on lunch has an amazing impact when combined with the donations from people nationwide. It is millions of individuals who participate that make this program a success.”

The Entertainment Industry Foundation, as a leading charitable organization of the entertainment industry, has distributed hundreds of millions of dollars to support charitable initiatives addressing critical health, education and social issues. Advertais, LLC as a new Hispanic Media Group has already contributed to other worthy events in Baltimore, Maryland that focus on working with Hispanic youth.
