Carova Beach has been selected as one of the top ten secluded beaches in the United States. Carova Beach is located in the northern part of Corolla, which is part of Currituck Outer Banks.

“These ten beaches have been chosen based on a rigorous research and the collective knowledge of our editorial staff” per Liz Webber the Editorial Assistant for Sherman Travel Media.

Carova has been placed on this list with remote areas such as Florida, Hawaii, and Georgia. One of the main reasons Carova is so secluded is the fact that there are no paved roads and it is only accessible if you have a four wheel drive vehicle. Another draw to this beach is the Spanish Mustangs that roam free on the beach or in the dunes. To read more from the article, please visit http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-35060646.
