One of Ms. Bradford's Science Fiction Short Stories "Jacob's Ladder" has been included in Gary D. Kessler's Writers Net Anthology of Prose -- Fiction, published in 2002. This book can readily be found at local bookstores or on the Internet worldwide.
Recent reviews of her books and various other writings by Ms. Adelle Bradford have been very positive. In one instance, Ms. Bradford has been invited by an editor and publisher of a quarterly magazine to submit one of her essays for publication in an upcoming issue. Ms. Adelle Bradford's genres include poetry, essays, fantasy and science fiction short stories, mystery and fantasy novels; at present she has also completed one novel and begun a sequel in this Delilah Cross trilogy. The Prologue to this first novel has been posted at Adelle Bradford's U.S.Website and at Authors Den. Other novels are in progress.
In her own words, Adelle Bradford is a life-time writer, in love with words. Her poetry has been published in a university magazine; a couple of children's stories have been published in children's magazines, plus Ms. Bradford has written professional articles for Humane Society Magazines, some in-house articles for business management training, and factual information pamphlets for veterinarians. Due to Adelle Bradford's interests in animal behavior, some of her observations, writing on ducks and waterfowl, have been used in lower school grades, and two humor pieces were published in a county magazine. Ms. Bradford has also been a California State Humane Officer for a number of years and a director of a California SPCA.
She is presently active in moderating two on line forums, and active as writer/editor/mentor of a Multiple Author Story in progress. Ms. Bradford loves to mentor young beginning writers from different countries on the Internet. She is also a member of a fantasy writers critique group made up of Writers Net members. As a moderator on two gaming sites for three years she is also an avid gamer.
Adelle Bradford states:"I live in Virginia, have blue eyes, and am owned by a possessive cat. I find animal behavior and the human condition fascinating. Writing is a way of life and I write because I cannot help it, trying to paint my mind pictures in words for others to see."
