Laridian Expands Free Bible Software Offerings for PDA Users Free demonstration versions of PocketBible and MyBible software now include full Bible text, Bible dictionary and commentary. Cedar Rapids, IA (PRWEB) September 21, 2006 -- Laridian, Inc. has enhanced the free demonstration version of its PocketBible 3 software for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC and MyBible 4 for Palm OS devices. The demonstration versions now include the entire King James Version Bible with no time or feature limits and no registration requirements. Demo users can also download the following classic Bible reference books for free: Easton's Bible Dictionary and Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary.
Previous demonstration versions included only a portion of the King James Version Bible text. Additionally, registration was required to download the demo. "We wanted to make it faster and easier for interested PDA owners to download and try our products." said Craig Rairdin, president of Laridian. "By offering a Bible, Bible dictionary and commentary, the demo user gets a more complete experience with the program."
Both the PocketBible and MyBible programs allow users to search the Bible text, highlight, take notes, create bookmarks and compare translations. "Some people will download our demonstration version and be completely satisfied with the included reference material," commented Rairdin. "But for the person who needs more, we offer a variety of popular Bible translations and reference material."
The only difference between the demonstration and full versions of the programs is that the demonstration versions only work with the specified content. Laridian offers an extensive list of Bible translations and reference books including the best-selling NIV Study Bible and Life Application Study Bible. The full versions of the programs are required to take advantage of this additional content (each sold separately).
The PocketBible 3 and MyBible 4 programs are priced at $10. Bibles and reference books range in price from $4.99 to $129.99. Specially-priced bundle packages are available and a selection of Bible translations, books, devotionals and reading plans are available for free download. Complete pricing and product information can be found at Laridian’s Web site: http://www.laridian.com.
