Tony Curtis Releases Second 'Some Like It Hot' Artwork Featuring Marilyn Monroe

A second “Some Like It Hot” montage has been released by Tony Curtis. The montage features Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe in one of the scenes from the movie.

(PRWEB) September 23, 2006 -- Tony Curtis has released another montage titled “Temptations” depicting a scene from the classic movie “Some Like It Hot”. The montage features Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe in one of the scenes from the movie.

“Some Like It Hot” was one of my favorite movies, and one that I am most remembered for,” states Tony Curtis, who co-stars with Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe in the classic comedy.

“In 'Some Like It Hot' Jack Lemmon and I play musicians who cross-dress to join an all-girl band so we can hide out from the Mob after we witnessed a St. Valentine's Day Massacre.”

“In the band we meet up with Marilyn Monroe, and of course, the storyline dictates that Jack and I both have the hots for her."

“It is well documented that Marilyn Monroe and I were an item off camera. But it was over by the time we came to make 'Some Like It Hot' in 1959. I think she was embarrassed that I knew so much about her. At first she would not talk to me. But there were love scenes to do.”

“In this particular scene she would deliberately rub up against me. I didn’t mind, but she’d rub against me while I was lying down and then before they’d yell ‘Cut!’ before she’d get off me she’d say, ‘Tony, did you like that one?’ So there was a lot more going in that scene than the moviegoer realized.”

“I still have the 'Some Like It Hot' yachtsman’s jacket shown in the montage. All over the jacket is Marilyn Monroe’s DNA. And over that jacket is my DNA. So in the DNA in the sky, there we are, both of us for a second. Once in a while I will put it on. I don’t wear it out, just around the house, if I feel a little nostalgic.”

Tony Curtis recently released a montage titled “Some Like It Hot” featuring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and himself in character with the Hotel Del Coronado in the background.

“Creating these images brought back many memories of the movie and of my late friends, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe. As an artist I only hope that it also brings fond memories to fans of 'Some Like It Hot,' ” concludes Tony Curtis.
