Grapevine PR Consultant Recognized for Award Winning International Economic Development Publication Grapevine Marketing Solutions President Barbara Tipton received top honors in the 2006 “Excellence in Economic Development Awards” in New York City this week for an economic development communication project for the City of Richland Hills, Texas. Grapevine, TX (PRWEB) September 26, 2006 -- The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) annually honors organizations and individuals that have created positive change in urban, suburban, and rural communities. On September 19, 2006, the Richland Hills Report -- a 4-color economic development newsletter -- took First Place for Excellence in IEDC’s international competition for cities with populations under 50,000.
The editorial project was produced by Grapevine resident and business owner Barbara Tipton for the City of Richland Hills Economic Development Advisory Board. “Tipton collaborated with David McCoy Design, GSBS Economic Development Consultants and Economic Development Specialist Marty Harrison to create this award winning publication,” says Richland Hills City Manager James W. Quin.
The 4-page newsletter(www.richlandhills.com/images/content/newsletter.pdf) spotlighted readily available residential, office and retail locations, upcoming high-profile regional transportation issues, and redevelopment opportunities within Richland Hills. Quality of life articles showcased several small business owners as well as large companies that anchor the Tarrant community.
