(PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -- On October 25, 2006, Hoffman Management & Consulting will host The Luxury Institute’s premier event “The Alternative Marketing Debate” at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, New Jersey. The event, sponsored by the luxury lifestyle publication M.A.R Magazine, will be moderated by The Luxury Institute Founder and CEO, Milton Pedraza.

Over 125 New Jersey-based luxury purveyors and over 50 heads of marketing and CEOs will be invited this exclusive two-hour event.

“The Alternative Marketing Debate” will focus on the growing demand to understand, implement and measure non-traditional forms of marketing including buzz/viral/word of mouth marketing and product placement. During the two-hour event attendees will discuss and debate today’s marketing challenges, non-traditional marketing solutions, how it relates to the affluent consumer, how it applies to luxury brands and what’s new and hot in Alternative Marketing.

This exclusive event is the brainchild of Andrea Hoffman, president of Hoffman Management & Consulting, a New Jersey-based consulting firm specializing in diversity affluence.

“Similar events and think tanks such as this take place all over the country and I knew it was time that the many New Jersey-based fortune 500 and 1000 corporations benefit from a similar opportunity right in their own backyard,” says Hoffman.

The panel includes industry experts who have successfully launched non-traditional marketing campaigns or service providers who help brands implement and measure this phenomenon. Panelists include Max Kalehoff, VP of Marketing for Nielsen BuzzMetrics, Bruce Bildsten, former Creative Director for Fallon Chicago and creator of The Hire (online film series for BMW). Other panelists will be announced soon.

Case studies will be discussed as well as practical applications, implementation and alternative marketing measurement methodologies. Panelists are subject to change without notice.
