Women-Owned Publishing Company Challenges Big Business to Dream Ecologically-Responsible Solutions Generosity Incorporated, a new, all-female publisher born from a dream-based spiritual practice, launches its eco-friendly web enterprise, geared toward promoting philanthropy, sustainability, and ethical business leadership. Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) October 1, 2006 -- Generosity Incorporated, an independently owned publishing company specializing in minimum-impact books, downloads, and subscription services pertaining to spirituality, dreaming and astrology, is proud to announce the launch of its online shop, www.generosityincorporated.com.
The e-shop, consisting of goods created by the corporation’s owners, specializes in providing reprints, audio and other digital offerings derived from the previously published works of CEO, author and spiritual leader Connie Kaplan (Dreams Are Letters from the Soul; The Woman’s Book of Dreams).
Kaplan’s unique teachings, rooted in both astrology and theology, maintain that dreaming is a necessary and sacred act, performed nightly by all people. Kaplan and her students have discovered that listening to and sharing these dreams with others leads to a deeper understanding of individual purpose and community responsibility.
The sixteen owners of Generosity Incorporated intend to carry forth the benefits of their spiritual practice into the business world. Their mission is to extend the principles of cooperation and generosity into every product and every action. These women intend to turn the present greed-based business paradigm upside down and demonstrate that ethical behavior, cooperation and sustainability can generate profit.
Says Kaplan, “Generosity breeds plenty. Greed breeds need. Our responsibility to humanity, nature and the cosmos is simple: We must live as though we are all one family, mutually dependent and mutually supportive, because we are.”
About The Women:
Generosity Incorporated is owned by sixteen women from eleven cities and rural communities across the United States. Among them are fifteen moms, three published authors, several artists, an entrepreneur, an attorney, a financial specialist, a book designer, an editor, and a publicist.
CEO Connie Kaplan is the author of three books, the most recent being The Invisible Garment: 30 Spiritual Principles that Weave the Fabric of Human Life (Jodere, 2004). A former television producer, she holds a doctorate in ministry and works as a spiritual counselor and author.
