Hickory has its German Restaurant Again

German cuisine at its finest.

Hickory, NC (PRWEB) October 3, 2006 -- After the German Heidelberg Restaurant had to close its doors a few years ago, Ulf and Silce Menzel decided to open their own restaurant. Both native Germans, Ulf has been a chef for over 17 years and his wife Silce also has a strong restaurant background. They opened the doors to their restaurant on July 5 of 2006.

The restaurant features an authentic German menu, as well as a great beer and wine list. Oktoberfest is still celebrated till the 14 of October. Game Season will begin at the end of the same month.

December features Live Entertainment every Friday and Saturday and a traditional German Christmas Menu, including German Christmas Stollen! All the Pastries are made in the house from scratch and are also available for carry out.
