With over 13,000 fans on myspace with no promotion and over 25,000 hits to her personal website from the shores of USA to Europe, this Soul singer’s EP has been eagerly anticipated and is sure to set fire to the airwaves.

The ‘Soul Searching’ EP is an insight into Kyra’s personal thoughts and each song portrays a moment or thought in her life. Kyra says ‘Writing and singing my tracks on the soul searching EP has left me wide open, people will see a side to me that I readily keep to myself… The classic collection of songs on the ‘Soul Searching’ EP is Kyra Simone’s 1st solo debut with all tracks written and arranged by Kyra ‘it’s real exposure as to how I think and it makes me quite nervous but I know that I am ready to share this with the world’.

Kyra Simone was raised in a musical family where her father plays keys and her mother sing lover’s rock reggae. Kyra’s most precious memory, at the tender age of five’ was watching her mother perform on stage. Kyra says ‘I was sitting on the front of the stage right in the middle, not too sure what the audience made of it, but it was a wonderful experience for me’. Kyra went on to sing with her mother singing reggae on stage at regional gigs with live bands and in local community shows. Kyra’s father said ‘Kyra did everything back to front, she was singing before she could talk and she was dancing before she could walk’.

Kyra Simone was also sighted by Mercury records and Peer music for a girl band called ‘Salome’ who had four solid lead singers but unfortunately they attempted to put her vocals through their pop machine and Kyra soon realised that this was not an option for her and ventured into her own world of soulful, poetic music.

The ‘Soul Searching’ EP is set to be a classic and its fresh, fruity and soulful sound is a diamond in the UK arena of artists. Kyra’s vocals are Soothing, Sensual and Sophisticated and there is nothing else out there that captures the moment like she does.
