Specialty Bar Codes recently launched its new website, http://www.SpecialtyBarcodes.com, to market its vast array of bar code labels for harsh environments.

Industry veteran, Bill Harris, launched the site to better inform his customers about the selections available to them. Example applications include tire retreading, manufacturing, warehousing, property management, library, and medical uses. Each of these applications requires that the label withstand extreme temperatures and repeated use without loss of adhesion or readability. Two examples, at opposite ends of the spectrum, are tire retreading, in which the labels must accommodate high heat and a dirty environment, and cryo storage, in which the labels are subject to extreme cold, but in a cold, sterile environment.
