Online Yarn Retailer Laughing Hens Holds Knitting Workshop at Bateman’s National Trust to Support National Knitting Week

East Sussex-based Laughing Hens has joined forces with The National Trust at Bateman's, the famous home of Rudyard Kipling, to encourage knitters to have a great day out at their special workshops in support of National Knitting Week on Saturday 7th October 2006. The two sessions running from 10am-12.30pm for Beginners Crochet and 2-4.30pm for Basic Knitting, give visitors time to also enjoy the beautiful house and grounds at Bateman’s. The fee for each workshop is £35, which includes entry into the house and gardens as well as the workshop tuition. If you book both workshops the fee is reduced to £60 total.

Laughing Hens will donate all profits from the day to National Knitting Week's chosen charity Help the Aged. Lunch can be taken in the attractive Bateman’s Mulberry Tea Room and the National Trust shop will be open. Workshop attendees will also be able to buy yarns on the day from Laughing Hens including the new Rooster Knitting Kits and luxury Rooster Almerino yarn which will be used in the workshops.
