Author Adelle Bradford Announces United Kingdom Website, Mysteries Remain Author Adelle Bradford announced yesterday that she has added a United Kingdom website to her three USA sites popular with her readers and fellow authors. Mysteries remain. Did Ms. Bradford really sent a letter to Her Majesty The Queen, asking for a review of her book All about Eve and Other Things? Who is Delilah Cross? Ms. Bradford is more than hinting at a new completed novel, of which a professional book critic has stated so far “The Prologue is a killer”. Suffolk, Virginia (PRWEB) October 5, 2006 -- Author Adelle Bradford announced yesterday that she has added a United Kingdom website to her three USA sites popular with her readers and fellow authors. It is an attractive website and should also become a favorite with the UK public.
This new website can be reached at Author Adelle Bradford UK (http://adellebradford.org.uk). It has substantial links to Ms. Bradford's writings in the USA websites, which include Fantasy and Science Fiction Short Stories, Children Stories, Poetry, Essays and Tangents, the 'Water Cooler' elaborating on management and personnel problems in the workplace, the first five chapters of "Haven", a mystery novel work in progress, and the prologue to "Delilah Cross", a completed suspense and mystery novel.
In the webpage titled 'Backgound', Ms. Bradford indicates that she has resided in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire UK for some years, doing research and a brief history of Hartley Wintney is included. In the section titled 'Books by Author', her book "All about Eve and Other Things", published January 2006, is promoted, followed by what is purported to be a letter addressed to Her Majesty The Queen, Buckingham Palace, London SW1A 1AA and dated October 2006. Therein, Ms Bradford alerts Her Majesty of the existence of an essay within the book titled 'In Case The Queen of England Ever Unexpectedly Comes To Visit' and requests Her Majesty to comment on it, if she will. When questioned on this letter, Ms. Bradford refused to confirm if she has, indeed, sent this letter.
In her book "Legends of Nevermore County", an anthology of fantasy short stories, Ms. Bradford alleges certain practices by the residents of Nevermore County, some of them fatal. The news of the publication of this book in January 2006 provoked a quite hostile reactions by the residents as published in the Nevermore County Gazette (www.nevermorecountygazette.com). When reading these stories, it would be well to remember, however, that Adelle Bradford is a highly skilled writer with a spirited imagination.
Also in the section of 'Books by Author', there appears a link to the prologue to "Delilah Cross", a powerful introduction to Ms. Bradford's first completed novel, well worth reading. Who is Delilah Cross"? What is her role in this novel and what are her secrets which required extensive research by the author? Ms. Bradford adamantly will not disclose any part of the plot or its background. Thus, the mystery remains here as well.
Along with the above mentioned books, Adelle Bradford's writing credits include the publication of a science fiction short story "Jacob's Ladder" in Gary Kessler's "WritersNet Anthology of Prose-Fiction", the poem "Lovers" published in "Barefoot Afternoons" by Watermark Press, and a full-page upcoming essay in "The Mississippi Crow Magazine", to be published in January 2007.
Suffolk, Virginia USA Author Adelle Bradford's new UK Website appears to be a very worthwhile addition to the literary community of authors and readers. Recent reviews of her books and various other writings by Adelle Bradford have been very positive and continue to attract a growing audience as demonstrated by various statistical data and readers' reviews.
Adelle Bradford states: "I live in Virginia, have blue eyes, and am owned by a possessive cat. I find animal behavior and the human condition fascinating. Writing is a way of life and I write because I cannot help it, trying to paint my mind pictures in words for others to see."
She is presently active in moderating two online forums, and active as writer/editor/mentor of a Multiple Author Story in progress. Ms. Bradford loves to mentor young beginning writers from different countries on the Internet. She is also a member of a fantasy writers critique group made up of WritersNet members. As a moderator on two gaming sites for three years she is also an avid gamer.
